21st September marks #PeaceDay.
We’ve been out in London asking people one simple question: “What has been the proudest moment of your life?”
Check out the video here:
So why have we been asking this question?
Conflict we see in the world, on whatever scale, often stems from people’s own insecurities. So our plan is to go out and get people to be conscious of the positive things they have achieved and remind them all of the good they have done. Positive thoughts projects positive action. It’s important to allow those good moments push you. But to do that, you must first have them at the forefront of your mind.
We know that our project is not going to create world peace, but this is just our little something to make people smile.
Thank you to everyone we spoke to today. It’s been so much fun speaking you all. Each and every one of you has contributed something really great. Thank you also Hamza Ibrahim for volunteering to be my sidekick for the day!
I did this project a few years back. Last time with a painted sign, a camera kit, a few paper planes. But truth is, you don’t need any of that. Just go out and ask someone, it can be a stranger or it could be someone you know. You can even just drop them a message or an email.
Anyone who stumbles across this post, I want to ask you, what has been the proudest moment of your life?
