22? I can’t even count to 22. Let alone… be it.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who sent me a birthday wish today. It’s incredibly kind and made me smile… MEGA. Thanks to my friends and family, my 22nd has been filled with surprises.

It’s strange being 22, when you have the mentality of a 2 year old. But I finally feel like things are becoming set – I’m… dare I say it… settling. Well almost- I’ve managed to graduate and secure a job, that’s a start at least.

I received some truly beautiful messages today. Since it’s my birthday and this entitles me to do as I want *cheeky smile*, I just want to express my gratitude to you all.
I know I can be a really crazy person to be around. I’m always off on random, (sometimes intense) projects and campaigns and if not, just constantly falling in to all kinds of trouble. I just want to say thank you for putting up with all of it. Thank you for trusting me with your friendship.

You guys have really had my back when things have been tough. This year especially has been filled with challenges you’ve helped me get through – and this year I’ve met some beautiful people too. I don’t say it enough so thank you, I love you all to bits. And I know I’m AWFUL at replying to messages and keeping in touch but you really are all in my heart and to me, that’s more important. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my life. Those who have been there for me (especially the past three years), you will stay with me forever. 

‘The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.’

– Ralph Waldo Emerson
